Get ready for the 2010 outdoor lacrosse season! Spring Practices will be starting up in mid March, along with scrimmages and exhibition games against regional lacrosse teams.
Rookie Camp Details announced - see below!
We are having a "Wingmen Lacrosse Rookie Camp" for players unfamiliar with the outdoor game and for all new persons who would like to try lacrosse and possibly sign up to join the team. All persons interested are welcome to join the team regardless of prior lacrosse experience. We will teach you what you need to know! Rookie camp will be the perfect opportunity to start that process! Rookie Camp will be from 1-3 pm on Saturday and Sunday, March 13 & 14th, and will get you ready to play! (Both sessions are recommended, but let us know if you can only make one of them) Members of the Wichita Wingmen will teach you the fundamentals of the game, from throwing & catching, to shooting, face-offs, gameplay, rules, and more! Rookie Camp will be FREE, and all necessary equipment will be provided! Pre-registration will be required! Rookie Camp will be held at the outdoor turf field of the North Wichita YMCA. Great Plains League play will start up in late May / early June, with games against teams from Kansas City, Tulsa, Omaha, and Lincoln Nebraska!
